In 2015, the SALE was born. Presented by Houston Tri Delta Philanthropies, Inc., the fundraising arm of the Houston Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter, this event was the vision of some very determined Houston Tri Deltas with a passion to serve families with children receiving the devastating news of a cancer diagnosis and give them hope for effective treatments.
This two-day shopping event features over 50 of Houston’s most loved boutiques in one location offering merchandise at dramatically discounted prices. Hosted each January, this “shop to cure childhood cancer” event is for all Houstonians to enjoy and a vehicle for each of us to support leading edge pediatric cancer research performed right here in the Texas Medical Center. This research has lifesaving potential not only for children treated here in Houston, but for children diagnosed with cancer throughout the world.
Proceeds from the SALE, raised through your underwriting dollars and ticket sales, are used to fund pediatric cancer research here in Houston. As a result of the SALE’s incredible success over the past six years, we have donated a over $1,225,000 for pediatric cancer research. We are honored to have funded specific research projects for both MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital and Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers. The SALE CAMPAIGN 2021 will benefit Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers.
the SALE is made possible through the volunteer efforts of members of the Houston Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter.
